circle

A skilled thief can CIRCLE behind an opponent and stab them in the back, but
only if they are sufficiently distracted during a battle.  Circle can be
mastered by thieves.  It can be used with any weapon type, but is most
effective with piercing weapons.  The damage inflicted by a circle attack is
determined by the attacker's level, his weapon skill, his circle skill, and
the power of his opponent.
