----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Halflings are basically hard-working, orderly and peaceful citizens of communities similiar to humans. They tend to have as many surface cottages as they do burrow homes. Halflings are very resistant to magic and poison. They are exceedingly clever at both quiet movement and hiding. Halflings are far better with a bow or sling than most except elves.
